Frequently Asked Questions
What is an Orthodontist?
An orthodontist is a fully qualified dentist who has undertaken further years of recognised university study and specialist college examinations. This allows the practitioner to be registered with the dental board as a specialist and as such only works in this specialist field.
In this area of dentistry, we must take a whole range of factors into consideration, rather than only focusing on the alignment of teeth, function, aesthetics and stability.
How long will my treatment take?
This largely depends on your own individual problems and treatment. We do not extend treatment time unnecessarily and aim to completely treatment in a timely manner while managing your specific individual needs.
