Adult Orthodontics built for adult life.

Modern braces and clear aligners are quieter, faster, and more discreet than they've ever been, and with consistent retainer wear your result can stay stable for the long term.

Why adult orthodontics is different

Adult bone is denser and tooth movement takes more careful planning than in a teenager. We use 3D imaging, custom treatment mechanics, and timing schedules that fit work and travel, not the other way around. Most cases finish in 12 to 24 months, with retainer-only visits afterwards.

Treatment options at a glance

Clear aligners (eg. Invisalign, Angel) suit many adult cases. Clear ceramic braces and Iconix champagne braces work where aligners alone won't move teeth predictably. Traditional metal braces remain a highly effective option for complex movement.

What it costs

Fees range from $3,200 to $11,750 depending on case difficulty and treatment time. We discuss your exact figure at the consultation. Following an initial deposit (from $1,500 on comprehensive cases), we offer interest-free fortnightly payment plans typically over 24 months. We provide a receipt for you to claim through your private health fund.

FAQs · Adult Orthodontics

Questions we hear most.

Is it too late to straighten my teeth as an adult?+

No. The biology that allows teeth to move works the same way at 25, 45, or 65. Older patients sometimes need a slightly longer treatment time and careful gum monitoring, and with careful planning adults achieve strong, stable results. Individual results vary from case to case.

Will braces affect my work life?+

Clear aligners are removable for meetings and presentations. Ceramic braces are tooth-coloured and difficult to notice at normal conversational distance.

How long does adult treatment take?+

Mild crowding can be corrected in 6 to 9 months with aligners. Comprehensive cases run 18 to 24 months. The plan we present at consultation gives you the exact range for your situation.
