Specialist Orthodontist

Dr Gagliardi is a highly qualified and respected orthodontist who has now retired after many years of dedicated service to his patients and the Canberra community. Originally from Adelaide, Dr Gagliardi received his dental education at the University of Adelaide, completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Honours research degree before gaining broad experience in private and community dental practice. He also published scientific dental research and held roles as an associate lecturer and clinical tutor in the undergraduate dental training program. He went on to pursue his passion for orthodontics, completing a specialist training program at the University of Adelaide.

On completion of his specialist training, Dr Gagliardi was awarded the Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics, along with Memberships in Orthodontics by examination with both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

As he stepped into retirement, Dr Gagliardi was delighted to pass the practice on to Tom, a clinician he personally sought out and trusted to continue the high standard of care and values the practice is known for. While the leadership has changed, the practice itself has not—the same experienced team remains, along with the welcoming atmosphere and charm that patients have come to know and love.
